We are sorry that viewers have been experiencing intermittent problems accessing our services.  The Coronavirus outbreak has resulted in an unprecedented demand for streaming services around the world.  Demand has surged by as much as 10 times normal volumes, and as a result, providers of core internet infrastructure, such as Amazon Web Services, are struggling to scale their services to support their customers.  AWS customers include Netflix and the platform that powers H&C’s channels.

Unfortunately, this is a problem that is out of H&C’s direct control, but we are working with our service provider to the best of our ability to resolve these intermittent issues as quickly as possible.  

In the meantime, if you cannot access a programme or a channel right away, please come back a little later and try again.  We hope to have these issues under control within one or two days.
